The Rooms at Hard Rock Punta Cana

There are almost 2, rooms at the Hard Rock. When we said it was a gigantic resort, we weren’t kidding.

There are various room types available, but all rooms come with a hydro spa tub, a balcony, a stocked mini-bar, a tv, a safe, and more.

In almost all rooms, the tub is on the porch, so you can enjoy the view while relaxing. Not all rooms have ocean views, and the resort is quite large, so you could be positioned anywhere.

Be sure to peruse the website beforehand so you have an idea of what type of room you’d like and where at the resort you’d like to be so you can make a request upon booking.

The Food at Hard Rock Punta Cana

Food can be found all over the resort, but most options are in the lobby. This is where you’ll find the buffet, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and most of the restaurants.

Ciao is an Italian restaurant with made-to-order pasta and delightful pizza. Los Gallos is a Mexican restaurant with traditional dishes and tons of tequila for cocktail lovers.

For those who love a teppanyaki (hibachi) experience where the food is cooked right in front of you, visit Zen, but don’t forget to make a reservation ahead of time because this restaurant requires it.

Enjoy sushi while you’re meal of rice, chicken, steak, and vegetables are prepared.

Also in the lobby are several bistros that aren’t quite restaurants but aren’t as quick as stopping by the buffet, either.

These are great places for lunch if you don’t mind spending a few extra minutes to enjoy a hearty meal.

Casa Verde, by day, serves fresh wraps and bowls of rice, vegetables, and meat or fish. By night, this bistro turns into a vegan-only comfort.

Bistro Med serves Mediterranean and Lebanese-style food full of rich flavors.

Stacked is a burger joint with smashed Angus beef-style burgers and breakfast sandwiches in the morning. Don’t forget a milkshake and fries on your way out.

The Split is an Italian-American sandwich shop where you can pick all your fresh ingredients and customize the sandwich to be served hot or cold.

After your meal, go to Ice Cone for some ice cream and your choice of various toppings.

Lastly, in the lobby is Awaken Your Senses which is not part of the all-inclusive experience but is worth mentioning. This is a multi-sensory gastronomic performance.

While enjoying your meal, you will be seated at an interactive table with scent synchronization, augmented reality, a surround sound system, and more. The dishes are all curated to take your dining experience to new levels.

Closer to the beach, you’ll find Ipanema Brazilian House. By morning it’s a buffet, and by night it’s a must-visit restaurant. You’ll go buffet-style to grab all of your sides, and then one by one, meats will be presented to you to try.

You can pick your cut, and your server will shave the fresh piece of meat right off for you. It’s an experience you mustn&#;t miss.

The last restaurant part of the all-inclusive experience is Toro, a premium steakhouse and one of only two restaurants that require a reservation.

Lastly, for food, most of the pools have light options at lunchtime, like burgers, hot dogs, and nachos. There is also a food truck with burgers and fries beside the beach. hour room service is also an option, so don’t worry about going hungry.

The Pools at Hard Rock Punta Cana

At the Hard Rock Punta Cana, there are a total of 13 pools, all varying in size, shape, and vibe, including some infinity pools and four swim-up bars. It has some of the best pools out of all the Punta Cana resorts.

The three kid’s pools have waterslides and other fun water activities, keeping the whole family busy. Near the kid&#;s pools is the lazy river surrounding Ipanema restaurant, where you can grab a tube and go for a float.

With pools everywhere, you’ll never get bored. The pools even host events, especially the main pool, where there is often a DJ, live music, or even a foam party.

The Beach at Hard Rock Punta Cana

If you prefer the beach over the pool when at a resort, this may not be the destination for you. While the beach here is gorgeous, and the ocean is every shade of blue on the spectrum, the waters are rough.

If you enjoy laying in a beach chair with a margarita in hand and listening to the sound of the waves, you’re in for a treat, but if you love body surfing or swimming, you won’t find any of that on this beach.

However, Punta Cana is full of amazing beaches that you should venture off to on your holiday.

You can, however, walk about half a mile to a mile down the beach to find some calm waters for swimming. It’s pretty crazy to see how quickly the waves and current go from extreme to mild in such a short distance.

The last thing to mention about the beach is that it has some of the most powdery and fluffy sand you’ll encounter in the world. It’s not full of rocks or shells, so take your shoes off and feel the comfort of the sand in your toes.

The Activities and Amenities at Hard Rock Punta Cana

If you like to keep busy, there are more than enough activities at this resort to go around. But trust us, if you’re staying for a week, there is no way you can try all the activities the resort offers.

The water park is separate from the waterslides in the kid&#;s pool. The park has several pools, including a swim-up bar and a food truck.

In addition, there are four racing slides that use a mat, two additional slides, and a slide where you can use single or tandem floats. Challenge your friends or family to a race and have a fun-filled day.

Moon Lounge & Terrace

In the lobby, the Moon Lounge and the terrace are great places to grab a drink and meet new people. In addition, there is often karaoke, live music, and other events in the moon lounge or on the terrace, especially at night.

See the Show Theater

Which I thought was a unique and pretty cool thing about the Hard Rock in Punta Cana.
